Centrix wins "Most Innovative Technical Solution" award at Channel Network Awards 2006
with Braxtel implementation

Centrix, one of the leading converged voice and data resellers in the UK, is pleased to announce that it has won the "Most Innovative Technical Solution" award at The Channel Network Awards 2006 held at The Dorchester, London. Centrix was recognized for its roll-out of Braxtel's Fluency Communicator software at Lansdowne Recruitment. The software was deployed to improve the psychometric testing process Lansdowne carries out on behalf of its blue-chip client base.

With a large Scottish bank wishing to use Lansdowne Recruitment's services, the need to adjust the existing psychometric testing practice became obvious, as the number of expended working hours completing the tests was set to soar. However, with Braxtel's IVR in place, installed by Centrix, the tests of prospective candidates could be automatically carried out over the phone, leading to a more cost effective testing process.

The award is recognition of Centrix's successful strategy of deploying innovative technological solutions into vertical markets such as the recruitment industry. Centrix's success has been built on penetrating key verticals with leading-edge technologies and applications such as VoIP, SIP, wireless, security and mobility.

Keith Thomas, Managing Director, Lansdowne:
"Centrix played an important role in the development of this solution, and were notable for their responsiveness and willingness to adapt their approach to the specific requirements of this relatively complicated solution. Their professionalism and market knowledge was invaluable in delivering the psychometric testing capability to our client on-time and on-budget. We're not surprised that Centrix has been formally recognized for the great work they've done at Lansdowne."

Ian Calder, Commercial Director at Centrix, concludes:
"We're extremely pleased with the success of the project at Lansdowne Recruitment, and we look forward to assisting them in future. This was a challenging project for us, but the flexibility of the Braxtel platform and our experience with similar projects meant we were able to satisfy the client's requirements for the recruitment process. To be recognized at the Channel Awards for the work we've done at Lansdowne is a tribute to the team's dedication and hard work throughout the lifecycle of this project."
