Katherine Connects With Centrix

There may be challenging times in the wider business community in 2009 but Centrix, after the best part of a year searching, have finally found a new recruit to join our Connect part of the business.

In March, Katherine Besant joined us, having previously worked for Cable & Wireless (formerly Energis) and another reseller.

Centrix Connect, which is the network services division of Centrix, has grown rapidly since it was set up in 2004 and contributes nearly 40% to the turnover of the Company. In recent years the growth has been such that additional staff have been required but, as ever, it can prove difficult to find people with just the right amount of experience and knowledge.

Katherine, through her previous roles at Cable & Wireless and Energis, brings with her nearly 10 years of experience in billing, provisioning and customer services and was the ideal person for the role of Billing Administrator.

Peter Fisher, Centrix Connect Business Development Manager had this to say about the appointment, “It might have taken us nearly a year to find Katherine but I’m pleased we waited as long as we did. She’s brought with her a great deal of knowledge and a lot of very useful input as to how we can continue to improve our billing and the products and services we offer our customers”.

The last word should probably go to Katherine, “I’m very excited about joining the Centrix team and it’s already apparent how important customer service is to the company, which is very much my background. I hope to be able to learn from Centrix but also to contribute to the growth and improvements to what is clearly a rapidly expanding part of the company.”
