Centrix Scoot to Uxbridge to deliver 1st-class service
Scoot, the comprehensive business and service directory, has enlisted the support of Centrix for its head office in Uxbridge and call centre in Telford. The contract, which is to maintain and support the Avaya Definity communications servers at both locations, demonstrates the range of support services Centrix can offer.
Scoot's call centre in Telford answers calls via its 0900 2 192 192 (calls cost 50p per min from UK landlines) and also handles non-emergency 999 calls for eight police forces in the UK. Users can also access the service via Vodafone 333, the Internet, WAP and interactive TV. In addition to Business Finer, Scoot's range of services has increased to offer Company Name Finder and Cinema Finder.
Matthew Barnett, Senior Sales Consultant for Centrix, explains how Centrix secured the business. "Scoot are a very demanding company that needed a close level of support from their maintainer with the flexibility to deliver a bespoke service to their needs. It was felt that their existing maintainer was not offering this so they looked to appoint a new company to maintain the Avaya Definity at their head office in Uxbridge and the Definity Call Centre at their Telford operation.
