A Healthy Start to 2009
Centrix is pleased to announce an excellent start to 2009 with the successful renegotiation of an existing contract to one of the UK’s largest private health groups, worth a further £1.5m over the next 3 years.
The customer, as part of their due diligence, went out to tender for all of their voice network traffic, which included lines, minutes and private circuits, and enlisted the services of a commercial online auction site to deliver value for money.
Peter Fisher, General Manager of Centrix Connect, had this to say: “As you can imagine, we were very pleased to be told we’d secured the business for a further three years, in a competitive environment. To continue to work closely with our existing customer to deliver an excellent service with reliable billing and good account management was our sole intention when bidding for the new contract. Nobody knows this customer better than Centrix and it was an endorsement for us to secure the business, despite not being the cheapest bid put forward. It just goes to show that customers want value for money and not necessarily the cheapest deal every time.”
The contract will run for three years and will undoubtedly deliver further growth to Centrix in what is currently a more challenging business environment. As part of the contract the customer will be reviewing new technologies such as SIP Trunking and will also be looking to implement further Disaster Recovery solutions.
