Centrix Launch New Division

As well as January being the start of the new financial year for Centrix it is also the launch date for their new carrier services division, Centrix Connect.

Richard Burbage, Sales & Marketing Director for Centrix explains the reasons behind the launch of Centrix Connect and why it should make for an exciting new year for Centrix. “Delivering first-class customer service is something than Centrix take very seriously and it was only a matter of time before our customers looked to us to provide a true one-stop shop for them and to be able to offer them carrier services as well.”

“As maintainers to a large number of customers we’ve learnt some of the lessons of ‘cheaper calls’ when it comes to the billing and resilience of some of these carriers. Before we launched Centrix Connect we spent the best part of a year evaluating the industry, billing platforms and networks so we could deliver a reliable service with accurate billing and competitive pricing; very much the utopia in carrier services!”

Centrix invested a considerable amount of time and money ensuring that Centrix Connect would be able to meet and exceed the needs of their demanding client base.

Ian Calder, Commercial Director for Centrix elaborates further on the rationale behind Centrix Connect.

“For us to be able to win this additional business from our competitors and to deliver the one-stop shop that our customers were demanding we had to look carefully at the service we would provide. It was not just a case of coming up with some competitive rates but also to deliver some value added services to the customer. This we have been able to do by implementing an extremely flexible billing platform which allows us to tailor our products and services, and how we invoice for them, specifically to the customer. For example, rather than pay for the maintenance of their phone system annually in advance, if the customer uses Centrix Connect we can invoice monthly for their network services and their maintenance and collect the payment by direct debit. This gives them some obvious cash flow advantages but also allows us to be flexible with our pricing to reflect the additional expenditure with us.”
