Argyll give Centrix a great start to the year

Not only is January the start of a new calendar year but it is also the start of a new financial year for Centrix, and Argyll Business Centres have delivered one of the best starts ever with a £ 300,000 order for a voice and data solution using the latest technology.

Argyll already have three prestigious central London business centres in the premier West End addresses of Mayfair and St. James's, but this expansion sees them opening a further three centres over the coming months, once again in the Mayfair area of London.

The order, which is the second largest in Centrix's history, will be to provide Avaya Definity communications servers and Category-5e cabling solutions to the new buildings. Centrix already have a wealth of experience in supplying to business centres groups in the UK and Europe but see Argyll as an important new customer.

Ian Calder, commercial director and responsible for negotiating the contract explains. "Argyll Business Centres are based predominantly in Central London and it seemed logical, with our knowledge of the business centre marketplace, to target them as a prospect. I'm pleased to say that after several months of hard work, and some stiff competition from their incumbent supplier, we successfully negotiated the order for the three new properties."

Katherine Pearce, Operations Manager for Argyll Business Centres continues the story. "The experience we gained from our existing three business centres meant we knew precisely what we wanted in terms of a product and a supplier, however, it wasn't until we met Centrix that we appreciated there was more to the solution than met the eye. They have been instrumental in specifying what we feel confident will be the right solution for both Argyll and our customers and we look forward to working with them over the coming months."
