Business Centre Association
Annual Gala Awards
November 2006 saw Centrix return once again to the Business Centre Association Annual Gala Awards Dinner evening. As winners in two previous years this is an exciting event for Centrix and a great chance to meet with customers and industry colleagues alike.
With the awards hotly contended, as always, it was fantastic to hear Phoenix Broadband's name announced as this year's winner of the bca "Trade Supplier of the Year". The award is given to a provider of services or products that support the operation of member centres, allowing them to provide a bespoke service to their clients.
Phoenix Broadband design and manufacture the Medusa™ Internet Delivery solution used in many business centres throughout the UK, Mainland Europe and now the United States. Medusa is a unique tool designed to implement an Internet business model for business centres and delivers ISP-grade Internet services, yet can be used by any centre staff member for billing, reporting, and provisioning of multiple levels of service or "service plans".
Tony Freeth a director at PBL comments: - "The award is a milestone for our company. As we start to progress internationally in Europe and the USA, it is wonderful to have our work in the UK recognised by the members of the worlds leading trade association. Next year we have some innovative and exciting new products to release to the industry all aimed at increasing revenue for our business centre customers. We look forward to working with the industry through the bca to achieve this goal."
Centrix are PBL's largest distributor and the sole distributor in the UK. Centrix has a long and trusted relationship with the membership of the BCA ensuring that a centre's communications revenues are supported from a single source.
Matthew Barnett, Senior Consultant with Centrix comments: - "The whole team at Centrix would like to congratulate PBL for the hard work and dedication they have put in over the years in creating a true Business Centre application. As a partner and in effect sales arm for PBL in the UK, we also take great pride from the Award as it shows that we are gaining positive feedback from our sales efforts and creating a group of satisfied customers who have taken the time to share their positive experience with the Awards Committee. We look forward to a continued increase in sales with PBL in 2007".
