Looking at things from a new Vantage Point
Located on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Dean, Vantage Point Business Village provides an excellent base for a growing business community.
The sixty-seven acre site boasts over one million square feet of high quality industrial space and over 200,000 square feet of commercial office space.
Local businessman Brian Bennett, who recently acquired the site from US giant Xerox, aims to rejuvenate the local economy and create a business community underpinned by the support and resources offered by his highly motivated management team at Vantage Point.
These services will include a fully serviced office complex providing high quality furnished suites offering broadband access and telephony along with the sites unrivalled facilities such as 24-hour security, a conference centre, restaurant facilities, medical centre and data storage. In fact at Vantage Point they even have their own fire station equipped with two fully operation tenders!
So where do Centrix fit in?
Centrix have long been leading the way in the provision of telecommunications and data services to the serviced office sector. With over 100 business centre clients in the UK and mainland Europe we have become a key player in this market place explains Matthew Barnett, the sales consultant responsible for securing the Vantage Point contract.
“Vantage point have some aggressive plans for the future and needed a telecommunications plan that offered the ability to look long-term at the business requirements of the site. The foundations needed to be in place to offer all of the potential services they may need to provide to tenants both now and in the future. This includes plans for IP telephony, CTI and the possibility of a number of large contact centres in conjunction with the Regional Development Agency. The Avaya Definity communications server is the product that can provide the cornerstone for this type of requirement.”
Brain Bennett and his team had been searching for the right product, and more importantly the right partner for some months when Centrix heard of the opportunity, and the rest as they say is history.
Kevan Spencer, Sales and Marketing director for Vantage Point continues the story.
“It was clear from our first meeting with Centrix that they had a unique insight into the Business Centre model and came to the table with much to offer over and above the suppliers we had previously spoken to. We set some aggressive delivery timescales for the Centrix team as part of our acceptance terms and they have delivered at every milestone confirming to us that the choice we made to partner with them on this new and exciting project was the right one. We are looking forward to working with them over the coming months to delivering a first-class service to the local businesses in the area that will undoubtedly be attracted to Vantage Point Business Village.”
