Centrix Sponsor the Royal Reading

This month saw Centrix attending Reading Football Club (known as the Royals) as main match sponsors for the crunch game between Reading and Millwall in the Championship League.

This is the first time Centrix have sponsored an event at the Madejski stadium and were welcomed by club chairman John Madejski.

The evening events included a champagne reception and three course meal in the sponsors lounge, followed by the game which was viewed from one of the best vantage points in the fantastic Madejski stadium, winner of many awards.

Following an exiting game which saw Reading fans enjoy watching their team battle to a 2 -1 win we had the tough task of nominating the man of the match. With many great performances from the likes of Les Ferdinand, and Dave Kitson it was finally decided that Nicky Forster, one of Reading 's biggest assets of this season, was to be the worthy winner.

Dave Everest, Operations Director of Centrix, made the presentation to Nicky amidst applaud from the Centrix team and a number of his own team mates.

The evening was rounded off with John Madejski making a presentation of his own to Centrix of a framed Reading FC shirt signed by the players, which is to take pride of place at our offices in Winchfield, Hampshire.

Dave Everest comments: "Sponsorship of this kind of event was a new thing for Centrix and the evening was a great success with the staff enjoying themselves."

The gift from John Madejski was the icing on the cake and proved that you can come away from a great staff night out with more than just a hangover.
