A new year and a new logo and website launches for Centrix.
The previous logo has stood the test of time and was only the second logo since their inception in 2000. However, with the passage of time and also to better reflect the areas the business was moving in to, Centrix thought it was time to launch a new website and a new logo.
Richard Burbage, Sales & Marketing Director of Centrix, explains further, “The previous logo, what we used to refer to as the ‘halo’ logo was simple but effective but what it didn’t do well was to convey what we did as a business; communication. The new logo, designed with us by Agent 8 Design, is meant to suggest keywords such as “hub” and “spoke” and “connection” and better illustrate the business world we live in with centralised applications and distributed architecture. It is everything connected through multiple pathways. At the same time, we refreshed the font to look a little more contemporary”.
As part of the rebranding, Centrix commissioned local bike manufacturer, Dassi (“A great road deserves a great bike”) to brand three new bicycles with the new logo and Centrix colours. These bikes will be used throughout the year for a number of charity bike rides Centrix will be undertaking with staff and customers, and also at various exhibitions. The bikes will tie in with the look and feel of the new logo and also with the recent launch of CHAIN (Centrix High Availability IP Network).
