Centrix began the new year with its annual kick-off event, with a company meeting revealing that turnover had hit £8m again for the first time since 2008, and staffing levels reaching 22 as opposed to 18 in 2008.
The well-deserved promotion of Geoff Weeks from Helpdesk Engineer to Centrix Customer Service Manager was announced, with some of Geoff’s new responsibilities now including overseeing the helpdesk, customer relationships, and training/developing the team. The growth of the helpdesk team continues, as Centrix welcome Lee Harmer as the new Helpdesk Engineer. Lee brings a wealth of AVAYA experience, having been a telecoms engineer from the age of 19 and enjoys being able to resolve complex technical issues. He has integrated well into the team, and is soon to be married in Richmond in March.
Following the meeting, staff were then invited to participate in a Quiz evening followed by a meal and drinks to celebrate.
